Milk Chocolate Bar Library: full evidence for each claim below
Paying TilliT changes how fast a check is reviewed and how much help a merchant gets — it never changes a result. Only new evidence does. This assessment ran the identical automated methodology whether or not this merchant has ever worked with TilliT.

Every claim we saw on this page

Not yet checked by TilliT2 claims
This is a real certification or claim type, but TilliT doesn't verify it yet. It is shown here so you know the product makes the claim — not as a judgement either way. Check it yourself using the note next to each one.
- What is this?
Vegetarian
On the page: “CONTAINS: MILK, WHEAT, SOYA & HAZLENUTS. VEGETARIAN. MAY CONTAIN TRACES OF OTHER NUTS”
What it means: The product contains no meat, poultry or fish (but may contain dairy or egg).
Why TilliT doesn't verify it: TilliT checks Vegan claims (see the badge section), but not the broader Vegetarian claim, which allows dairy and egg. Vegetarian certification bodies exist (e.g. the Vegetarian Society) that TilliT doesn't check yet.
How to check it yourself: Read the ingredient list for dairy and egg. Look for a vegetarian-society trademark if one is shown.
- What is this?
Compostable / Recyclable / Biodegradable packaging
On the page: “Bar 1 x Happiness 90g Bar 5 x 90g ♻ Recyclable outer box ♻ Widely recyclable inner”
What it means: A claim about what happens to the packaging after use.
Why TilliT doesn't verify it: Some of these are certified (e.g. BPI / TÜV OK Compost / How2Recycle) and some are unqualified marketing. TilliT doesn't check the certification schemes yet.
How to check it yourself: Look for a certifier's mark (BPI, OK Compost, How2Recycle) and check your local facilities accept it.
TilliT also looked for allergen-free, organic, vegan, fair trade claims. None appear on this product's page, so there was nothing to verify.

Supply chain & sourcing
Who makes and moves this product, and where it comes from, from public sources only. It's background context, not evidence for or against any badge claim.
- The seller's own informationBrand sourcing / ingredients page
The brand publishes a page about its own suppliers / sourcing. This is the company's own account of its supply chain — worth reading, but not an independently verified supplier list.
What this means: This is the seller's own statement about where the product comes from. It is useful context, but it has not been independently checked.
Open source - Government-hosted recordUK Food Hygiene Rating Scheme (FSA)
The UK Food Hygiene Rating Scheme lists 3 registered business locations matching 'Montezuma's Chocolate', with ratings from 5 to 5 out of 5.
What this means: A UK food-safety inspection rating for premises tied to this brand. It reflects kitchen and food-handling hygiene, not whether the product is organic, gluten-free or anything else a badge covers.
Open source
Does this apply to the exact batch or lot you're buying?
