How it works
How a food claim becomes a result you can check.
We gather the visible evidence, compare it with what the claim requires, and show what we found. Merchants can add better evidence. Anyone can check the sources for themselves.
Find the claim
We read the product page and pull out claims like Organic or Gluten-Free. Then we work out what would have to be true for each one to hold up.
Gather the evidence
We check public registries, certifier accreditation records, news and recall screens. It is all stuff a shopper, a journalist or a regulator could look up too. We pull in whatever the merchant has added, as well.
Weigh each source
Every source gets an independence tier. A government registry counts for more than a brand's own PDF. A fixed, published formula turns all of it into a score, so the same evidence always lands on the same result.
Show the proof
You get a verdict in plain words, a score you can read line by line, and every source with the date we checked it. When the stakes are high, a person reviews the result before it goes live.
Here is one we ran: an Organic oat-milk claim
Certificate found → certifier accreditation checked → USDA registry searched (no match) → recall and lawsuit screen clear → result: partial proof, with every source listed.
